Let’s see…where is there someone that is young, pregnant, and just can’t seem to get any media coverage? Of course Jamie Lynn Spears! This 16 year old star of Zoey 101 simply can’t attract enough attention, or at least this is what Peta must be thinking.
PETA is beginning their new commercial spot on “Sex Talk” which links unwanted teen pregnancies and spaying and neutering of pets. The big stink is that they are airing the spot on Jamie Lynn Spears’ hometown.
This pretty tasteless 30-second spot shows parents encouraging their teen daughters to become sexually active. In the spot a daughter asks her mother, “What if I get pregnant?” and mom blurts out “pop out all the kids you can” then says, “If it has a pulse, you should be wrapped around it!”
The commercial ends with mom saying “My little girl’s gonna get some.” I can only shake my head in shame.
The ad will air twice a day through Friday during “Good Morning America” in Kentwood, La., where the Spears family resides.
