(BFF NOTE: I didn’t ever intend on blogging about a what’s-her-deal like Lauren Conrad, but when I found out she wore Dolce Vita shoes, she became more bloggable to me. In a sweet way.)
Lauren Conrad really knows how to sell herself. One day, she tells the world (via Entertainment Tonight) that she’s “awful” at acting:
“I tried it when I first moved to L.A.,” L.C. quipped. “I took a couple of classes. Awful. Acting is an art, and I don’t think I have a talent there.”
Don’t pull my arm and sprain it like Cindy McCain’s hand and make me argue with ya, girl! The masses of tourists getting off their Star Tours buses, 15 times a day, to snap some shots of Lauren’s home (steal some tree branches, kiss the pavement, etc…) probably don’t disagree with her lack of talent either.
The very next day, Lauren drops a mention to E! Online that she’d looooooooooove to guest-star on Gossip Girl. Like the show’s producers would be attracted to Lauren’s lack of acting talent (not self-deprecation; just truth). Like Blake and Leighton really appreciate that L.C. called their show: “superficial.”
I think she’s in (spoiler alert: catty, catty, catty!).
